Hi Everyone. Cinder certainly gave me a scare today, i was reading an article on signs for when you're bird might need to see a vet, well it said if there were ridges under his nostrils, that it might be a sign. So off i asked another forum i am on, for advice and got a reassuring reply, but to make sure i have contacted my avian vet and im awaiting a reply. But my friend said it seems like normal beak growth. Cinder after all has no other noticable signs, he gets a healthy diet of Zupreem pellets with Veggies and fruit two times a week he has toys and very frequent interaction, etc. But tell me, do you think this is normal ? Do you're GCC's and parrots/bird's have any ridges on their beaks under their nostrils? Here is a photo that shows it the best...
