The long awaited homecoming has arrived! Marvin came home with me yesterday. He's very outgoing and inquisitive! He loves being with people and as soon as I place him in his cage and close the door, he sets about trying to escape. I'm confident that his large cage will keep him confined when I am not around to watch him. He loves my husband too! He isn't sure if the name Marvin suits him, so he just calls him "buddy" for now. He hollers at us when we leave the room. I was up early this morning and Marvin greeted me with some excited chirps and squeaks from under his cage cover. We had a nice quiet morning sharing some apple, carrots and snow peas and watching MonsterQuest. It was great! He is a little nippy and we are working on that, but it was to be expected. He's just checking everything out and testing his boundaries. I do have to wean him onto a pelleted diet, though. He is on a mix of dried fruit, nuts, grains, ect. I would like to be able to have him eat pellets too. And have the mix as a treat, not a full diet. The other thing is that he doesn't eat much unless he's sitting on you. I had to handfeed him his food mix this morning. I hope he doesn't think that's how it will always be. Well, I have to go to the pet store to get another food dish for his fresh foods. I will get some pics on here later.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Father's Day Weekend!

Ace was nippy for the first 3 years. I still have trouble when he is tired. He is 5 now.
