Hi Everyone ! I was wondering, What type of pellet's do you feed you're fids ? For me, I used to feed Cinder Zupreem's.. but they discontinued at the store i purchase from, and switched to Kaytee....and I don't like Kaytee product's so now Cinder is currently eating Hagen Tropican Lifetime Pellets Parrot size... I personally am very picky on Ingrediant's, Health and Nutrition for Cinder.. and I personally try to provide the best for him... I had no choice but to switch to those pellet's, and soon i will be ordering Harrison's online for Cinder... Cost for me doesn't matter.. why i bought Zupreem Pellet's for $25 a bag and it wasn't to big of a bag either, it lasted sometimes 2 time's aweek, when i owned two parrots... or more.. like a month, It really depend's. Anyway's, I also want to ask.. What would you consider 'good' Ingrediant's in Parrot Pellets ?

My vet likes Zupreem. I can order from work or I use Foster and Smith to get them with Roudybush. They have a bowl of each out every day.

I'm using a sunflower-free seed, grain and pellet blend that's formulated for a local bird-oriented pet store. On top of that I put a layer of Roudybush mini-pellets and I scatter a few Nutriberries or similar on top of that. Mostly Scooter prefers the seeds and grains and eats some of the pellets, but I figure at worst it's a foraging experience... my vet has approved the feeding program and Scooter is very healthy and at a stable weight so I'm happy. I tried giving him just the pellets and he cried day and night! Wasn't worth it. He also eats lots of fresh foods.
