Hello! Just curious to see what tricks everyone has taught their GCC's! As a first-time bird owner, I am still impressed and amazed at how quickly Watson learns tricks I teach him. He loves getting praised and given a treat and if it were up to him, training sessions would go on for a while! I've only had him a couple of months but he knows how to do the basics like step-up, step-down as well as how to spin, wave, high-five, hang upside down, lift up his wings, etc. He also just learned how to pick up different objects and place them in the bin that matches their color! He's up to doing two different colors correctly:) He gets very excited "organizing" his objects. I also love how chatty he has become - he knows a few key phrases but lately has been imitating many things that I normally say to him:) Would love to hear some of your tricks to teach Watson!

Scooter has a lot of behaviors, but I haven't really put very much on cue. He does step up and step down more or less on cue. He lays on his back in our hands, but exactly on cue. He's learning to put plastic disks in a bank box, but I haven't really gotten him to do that on cue either. In general, he'd rather throw the disks on the floor and watch me pick them up. I need to find a hand-feedable treat he really likes if I want to teach him honest to goodness tricks.
